Scotts Head Nursery

About

Scotts Head Nursery is a small, locally owned plant nursery. We’ve created a relaxed, welcoming space where people can explore plants at their own pace, ask questions, and leave feeling confident about what they are taking home.

Our Story

Our Vision

Our focus is not just on selling plants, but on helping local gardens succeed. We encourage people to bring photos or even just a description of the space they are working with. From there, we can suggest plants that suit your light, soil, exposure and level of maintenance.
Whether you are planting your first garden, setting up a coastal holiday home, filling a few pots on the balcony or refreshing established beds, we will take the time to listen and guide you. If a plant is not the right fit, we will say so and help you find something that will work better.

Our Mission

Everything we do at Scotts Head Nursery is shaped by a few simple values. We care about providing healthy, well cared for plants rather than rushing them out before they are ready. We value straightforward, friendly service, where people feel comfortable asking questions no matter their level of experience. We are committed to supporting our local community, both by supplying plants that suit local conditions and by keeping money and knowledge circulating in the region.
Above all, we want people to enjoy gardening. If you leave the nursery feeling inspired, more confident and excited to get your hands in the soil, then we feel we have done our job.
