Dwarf Lady Finger Banana

Dwarf Lady Finger (Musa acuminata) is a compact form of the Lady Finger banana. It grows to a more manageable height than the full size plant, so it suits a backyard, a courtyard or a large pot. The fruit is small and sweet, and it ripens in hands of several fingers.

Bananas like warmth, shelter from strong wind and a sunny position. Plant in rich, well drained soil, mulch around the base and keep the plant watered and fed through the growing season. Frost can damage the leaves, so give young plants some protection in cold weather.
