Description

Grevillea lanigera Lutea is known for its grey-green, velvety foliage and unique curled flowers. This low-growing shrub is perfect for adding texture to the garden and is very hardy in a variety of soil types.

Grevillea lanigera is a low, spreading shrub with soft, grey-green leaves covered in fine hairs, which is why it is called woolly grevillea. The flowers are curled and pale, mostly from winter into spring, and the plant usually stays under about a metre high.

It suits a sunny rockery, a raised bed or the front of a border. The soil should drain well, and the plant handles dry weather and frost once it is established. Water young plants through their first summer and trim lightly after flowering to keep them neat.
