Lychee ‘Wai Chi’

Lychee ‘Wai Chee’ is a grafted lychee tree selected for reliable cropping and excellent eating quality. This variety produces clusters of smaller, sweet fruit that hold well on the tree, making it an excellent later-season eating variety.

Supplied in a 5 litre bag, this lychee is ideal for planting in a warm, frost-free position with full sun and well-drained soil. Protect young trees from strong winds and cold snaps, and water regularly while they are establishing. Mulching around the base helps keep the roots cool and moist, while seasonal feeding with a suitable fruit tree fertiliser will support healthy growth and good crops.
