Description

Kunzea ambigua, or Tick Bush, is a tough Australian native that grows into a large shrub or small tree. It produces masses of scented white flowers and is extremely adaptable to different soil types and conditions.

Kunzea ambigua, also called tick bush or white kunzea, responds well to clipping, which is why it is often used for hedging. Left alone, it can grow into a small tree of three to four metres.

The white spring flowers are fragrant, and the plant tolerates sandy soil and exposed positions. Plant it in full sun and keep young plants well watered until they are established. Prune lightly after flowering to keep the shape.
