Myoporum course leaf pink

Myoporum parvifolium is a fast-growing groundcover that forms a dense mat of green foliage. This coarse-leaf pink variety produces small, star-shaped flowers and is excellent for erosion control or as a lawn substitute in low-traffic areas.

Myoporum parvifolium is a spreading groundcover that grows only a few centimetres high but can cover well over a square metre. The small, fleshy leaves hide white or pinkish flowers in spring and summer.

It grows quickly in full sun in soil that drains well, and it tolerates dry conditions and coastal exposure once established. It does not like heavy foot traffic. Use it to cover banks, edge paths or soften retaining walls.
