Description

Westringia Wynyabbie Gem is a versatile hybrid shrub that is ideal for hedging and topiary. It is highly salt-tolerant and produces delicate mauve flowers throughout the year, making it a staple for coastal gardens.

Wynyabbie Gem is a hybrid between Westringia fruticosa and Westringia eremicola. It grows into a dense, rounded shrub, usually one to one and a half metres high and wide, and the soft grey-green foliage clips well into a hedge.

Mauve flowers appear through much of the year, with the heaviest flush in spring. It likes full sun and soil that drains well, and it tolerates salt, wind and dry spells once settled in. Clip lightly a couple of times a year for a tidy shape.
