Description

Westringia fruticosa “Mundi” is a tough, low-spreading shrub that is perfect for mass planting or as a groundcover. It features small white flowers and is exceptionally resistant to salt, wind, and drought.

Westringia fruticosa, known as coastal rosemary, grows naturally on coastal headlands in eastern Australia. The Mundi form is a low, spreading shrub, usually around half a metre high and wider than it is tall.

It copes with salt wind, poor soil and dry spells, and it flowers on and off through the year, with the most flowers in spring. Plant it in full sun with soil that drains well. Light trimming after flowering keeps it dense, and it also grows in large pots.
