Westringia fruticosa

Westringia fruticosa “Mundi” is a tough, low-spreading shrub that is perfect for mass planting or as a groundcover. It features small white flowers and is exceptionally resistant to salt, wind, and drought.

Coastal rosemary is a hardy native shrub, and the Mundi form is a low grower that spreads sideways more than it grows up. The grey-green leaves look much like rosemary, and small white flowers appear on the branches.

Plant it in full sun to light shade in free draining soil. It stands up to salt spray and wind, so it is a good choice near the coast, and it needs little water once established. Tip prune now and then for a thicker plant.
